1.Flower-shaped crown:
The classic petal logo shape of the KAKULIN flute is decorated with original Swarovski crystals, thickness 10µ thick and 925 silver electroplating, which increases the warm sound effect.

2. Imitation ivory:
Ivory has always been loved by people for its special pattern and unique texture. Due to the concept of protecting animals, we use a new type of environmentally friendly imitation ivory material. The pattern and the Schreger lines of ivory offer a high similarity with naked-eye observation to the real thing. The average relative density of the material is about 1.22 hardness which is slightly lower than ivory.

3. Wooden
In the early days, wood was the main material for flute manufacturing. Even today, wooden flutes have always been loved by lots of players. To protect the environment, we use sustainable wood. The characteristics and sound effects are no different to those of wild wood.

Changing the crown:

The process to replace the crowns is very simple, anyone will be able to complete the task. Just follow the steps below.

Step 1: Make sure that the entire process is carried out on a flat and safe surface.
Step 2: Unscrew the original crown from your head-joint (it may take some effort), then place it in a safe place.
Step 3: Screw the new crown into place. (Note: We use the common use thread, which is suitable for 99% of instruments. If you cannot screw it in smoothly, please don't force the installation, you should ask your service technician to assist.)
Step 4: After you screw in the new crown, please make sure the crown and the head-joint fit tightly.
Step 5: Use the position line at the end of your cleaning rod to measure that the position of the reflective plate is correct.
Step 6: When everything is confirmed, you may start to enjoy the fun of your new crown~
